We actually cancelled our other dinner reservation to eat at this place when we walked by. The fresh fish displayed reeled us in and we were really satisfied with this choice. Kind staff, good wines and above all, good food. We shared some appetizers which were great. I can also recommend the Trapanese pasta which was absolutely amazing. I missed the photo opportunity on this one because it was too good. We’ll be back!
You gotta love atmosphere of the market! Amazing fresh food, pretty quick service, good wines and very understanding staff. They speak English. Clean bathrooms.
Delicious and fresh food, I highly recommend it!We had dinner there and we had the burrata with alici bruschetta(the best part of our dinner - really the best bruschetta I’ve ever had), tuna tartar and risotto alla pescatora. The risotto was good but I believe they have better dishes.
We ate dinner very early in Sicilian standards- 6:30pm. The waitress was very friendly and answered all my questions about local life. I felt very welcomed- felt like a small town place to me. The food was very good. We had the ensalada bufalo- amazing! And the Parmesan (Parmesan aubergine) and the carbonara- the meat melted in your mouth. They also offered raw oysters, prawns and lagoustine- we didn’t chose this but many did. They will grill all but the oysters. The oysters were from France and China. We had a lovely time and would go back.
Have eaten there four times now, exceptionally delicious food and service. Might be slower when restaurant is full but that comprehensive. Mixed fried sea food is done to perfection, pasta Siracusana - top, spaghetti with clams( vongole) haven't left disappointed. Also the tables set up outdoors is fantastic. Grazie Fabio,Daniela and team!
You can find great food and great wine here! You can eat all the typical dishes of Sicily. We loved the wine. We had a great experience. it was a little bit pricey, but sometimes you have to pay.
Highly recommended, and absolutely stellar dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with the aroma of freshly prepared seafood dishes. The ambiance was charming and inviting. The seafood was incredibly fresh. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
First night in Syracuse and after walking around we decided that this venue looked the most appealing. Food was very good, and atmosphere was great. This restaurant seems a bit more expensive then other venues that offer similar food, but the service we received was excellent. Loved the decoration.
